Role Overview
The team
The Digital Marketing Executive role sits within our Digital team, part of RPC's wider Brand, Clients & Markets (BCM) department. BCM is central to shaping and delivering the firm's strategy, brand and client experience. With over 70 specialists across communications, business development, campaigns and digital, the team plays a key role in telling the RPC story - both internally and externally.
The role
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing Digital team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2-3 years' experience to develop their digital skillset in a fast-paced and supportive environment. You'll work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager, playing an integral role in delivering digital campaigns, maintaining our web and social platforms, and reporting on performance to help drive our brand forward.
This role is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset, creative eye, and strong organisational skills - who enjoys working as part of a team and is keen to learn and grow.
Key responsibilities:
* Website content: manage day-to-day content updates across RPC's websites, ensuring content is accurate, on-brand and SEO-friendly.
* Social media: draft, schedule and publish social media posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
* Campaign support: assist with the delivery of integrated digital campaigns, working with internal teams to align messaging across channels.
* SEO: support ongoing SEO optimisation, including updating metadata, analysing keyword performance and applying best practices to improve visibility.
* Analytics: help monitor and report on the performance of digital activities using Google Analytics and social insights tools.
* Content coordination: liaise with lawyers and business services colleagues to plan and publish digital content in line with firm priorities.
* Quality control: ensure all content is high quality, consistent, and aligned with RPC's brand and digital standards.
* Trend awareness: keep up to date with digital trends and bring fresh ideas to enhance our digital presence.
Experience in the following will be desirable:
* 2-3 years' experience in a digital marketing role. Experience in professional services, legal, or corporate environments is an advantage.
* Hands-on experience using CMS platforms - ideally SiteCore.
* Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Agorapulse, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms (e.g., GA4).
* Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite / Hands-on experience using Adobe InDesign for editing graphics.
* Understanding of SEO principles and experience optimising web content.
* Excellent attention to detail and copywriting/editing skills.
* Ability to shoot and edit on mobile / basic mobile photography and videography skills.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* A collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
* A passion for digital, with an interest in testing new ideas and channels.
Knowledge, skills and experience
* Demonstrates a growth mindset and is committed to lifelong learning to build knowledge and expertise.
* Develops client relationships and adopts a client-centric approach to deliver strong results and innovative solutions.
* Utilises data to deliver commercial solutions.
* Knowledge of social media best practices (e.g. asset optimisation, platform-specific copywriting, audience engagement).
* Committed to being a part of a supportive, inclusive and collaborative firm culture.
Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging
We are problem solvers. Whether in front of clients or behind the scenes. To solve problems creatively for clients, we need diverse collaborative thinking; drawing on different experiences, backgrounds and perspectives. That means that everyone who either applies to, or works for, the firm is treated equitably. We believe in removing barriers to equal access not least because our people define us and define what we do. If you need support and adjustments to do your best work, whether that's during the recruitment process or throughout your time at RPC, we're here to help.
Flexible working that supports your commitments outside of work is an important part of our culture and, where possible, we will support this across all roles. Please get in touch with our recruitment team if you have any questions about our hybrid working approach or flexible working policy.
