Requirements
* Licence - Car/Van Driving Licence (Category B)
The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit a Driver's Mate to join our clients busy transport operation in Crawley, West Sussex. This is a temp to perm position, meaning a full time role is available for the right person.
The role will include but not be limited to:
* High amount of heavy manual handling to delivery furniture to customers homes.
* Providing instruction and direction to drivers.
* Providing a high level of customer service to recipients of products ensuring they are given verbal updates regarding their orders
* Occasionally driving the company van to site with large deliveries.
For this role applicant must have the following
* Ability to lift loads, with support of another, for weights up to 90kg.
* Good communication skills
* Ability to obtain a clean DBS check
* Full UK Cat B / 3.5t licence
The job is due to start ASAP, with shifts being Monday to Friday 05:00am start with days averaging at around 9 hours per day.
