Your Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Development:
Craft detailed, cost-effective proposals ensuring compliance with BS 9251, BS EN 12845, and NFPA standards.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to tailor bespoke solutions.
Prepare bills of quantities and accurate cost estimates.
Client Engagement:
Serve as the primary contact for clients during the proposal process.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
Deliver clear, professional technical presentations to stakeholders.
Sales and Strategy:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with company goals.
Follow up on proposals, negotiate terms, and secure contracts. Partner with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Project Handover:
Facilitate smooth transitions from proposal to project execution in collaboration with project management teams.Desire

Qualifications & Experience Required:
Minimum of 4 years in technical sales, proposal engineering, or related roles within fire safety or construction
Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems (e.g., Tyco, Viking, Victaulic) and standards such as BS 9251 and BS EN 12845
Proficiency in estimation tools and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and negotiation skillsDesirable:
Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Engineering, or related disciplines
Experience with CAD software and an established fire safety industry networkAction
