We are searching for a Technician Sales Engineer to join our Christchurch team!
In this role, you will provide technical support to customers and the external and internal sales teams, including product recommendation and selection. You will initiate projects based on customer demands and follow up with the appropriate contacts and systems depending on the Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support to customers and sales teams, including product recommendations.
2. Respond to day-to-day customers’ technical inquiries in writing and via telephone.
3. Understand the deciding factors leading to the technical approach and assist customers with product selection.
4. Communicate technical requirements as part of RFQs to responsible persons within the CWC-I organization.
5. Liaise with the responsible Sales or Product Manager to find the best solution for the customer.
6. Provide technical solutions based on customer needs.
7. Liaise with engineering and production facilities to ensure feasibility of the technical approach.
8. Provide internal communication between Technical, Sales, and Marketing organizations.
9. Prioritize projects as required by the Sales organization.
What You Bring:
1. Engineering Degree or similar technical background.
2. Experience in Product Development or Product Design.
3. Experience in a Sales environment.
4. Flexible and self-motivated.
