Description
Reporting into the Head of People, and acting as part of a broader team, the People Business Partner will be responsible for:
1. Strategic HR Partnership
o Collaborate with leadership teams to align HR strategies with business goals.
o Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
o Act as a change agent to drive organisational transformation initiatives.
2. Employee Relations
o Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring a fair and consistent resolution process.
o Advise managers on employment law, company policies, and best practices.
o Foster a culture of trust, inclusivity, and open communication.
3. Talent Management & Development
o Identify and support talent development initiatives, including leadership training programs.
o Drive succession planning and career development frameworks.
o Partner with managers to identify high-potential employees and create development plans.
4. Workforce Planning
o Collaborate with teams to ensure effective workforce planning and organisational design.
o Support recruitment efforts by providing guidance on role profiles, candidate assessment, and onboarding processes.
5. Performance Management
o Oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
o Coach managers to provide effective feedback and support employee growth.
6. HR Projects & Initiatives
o Lead or contribute to HR projects such as DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) programs, engagement surveys, and culture-building activities.
o Stay informed on HR trends and emerging technologies to enhance HR practices.
Profile
The successful applicant will have:
1. Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, including time as an HR Business Partner in a tech or fast-paced, dynamic environment.
2. Proven ability to align HR strategies with business objectives in a rapidly evolving organisation.
3. Strong track record in managing complex employee relations cases with a sound understanding of UK employment law.
4. Practical knowledge of driving organisational change initiatives, including restructuring and workforce planning.
5. Experience in facilitating cultural transformation within a tech-focused or innovative business environment.
6. Proficiency in HRIS tools and HR analytics to measure and improve organisational effectiveness.
7. A history of partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making at all organisational levels.
Job Offer
An estimated salary range of £45,000 - £60,000, depending on experience.
