Reed Accountancy are currently assisting a growing organisation in the recruitment of a Construction Accounts Manager to join their existing team. Reporting to the FD this role will play a crucial role in delivering high-end residential projects. Day-to-day of the role: Responsible for managing the accounts of all construction projects. Support the construction team with all areas of project accounting. Conduct reconciliation of provisional costs for each project. Prepare project reports from Sage and labour costs for Estimator analysis and Project Manager valuations. Manage the construction sales ledger. Assist the construction team with purchasing and supplier accounts for construction projects. Provide the ‘core’ accounts team with reconciled information. Perform ad hoc finance reporting duties as necessary, including covering for the ‘core’ accounts team as required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in Sage Accounts and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Highly organised with excellent time management skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work to deadlines. Experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
