Job Title: Working Supervisor \n\nLocation: Kings Cross\nSalary: £50,000\nJob Type: Full-time: Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm or 7am - 4pm\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking a proactive and hands-on Working Supervisor to join our Facilities Management team. This role is a blend of practical, on-the-tools work and administrative duties, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers while also carrying out maintenance tasks yourself.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupervise and coordinate a team of maintenance engineers, ensuring high standards of work.\n\nUndertake hands-on maintenance duties including (but not limited to) electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.\n\nPlan and allocate daily work schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources.\n\nCarry out regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.\n\nAssist with administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining records, and managing work orders.\n\nLiaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth service delivery.\n\nProvide training and mentoring to team members.\n\nRespond to urgent maintenance issues and ensure timely resolutions.\n\nEnsure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\nProven experience in facilities management\n\nStrong hands-on technical skills (Electrical bias)\n\nExcellent leadership and people management skills.\n\nAbility to balance on-the-tools work with administrative duties.\n\nStrong understanding of health & safety regulations.\n\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n\nProficiency in using maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.\n\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.\n\nFull UK driving licence (if applicable).\n\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\n\nOpportunities for training and career progression.\n\nPension scheme and holiday allowance.\n\nA dynamic and supportive work environment.\n\nRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
