The post holder will: Undertake occupational therapy assessments for a designated caseload, addressing occupational performance and skill deficits, enabling the clients to achieve their maximum independence. KEY RESPONSIBILITES include: Work with clients to assess for major adaptations, specialist equipment and housing needs Liaise with other health and social care professionals, families/carers, statutory and voluntary organisations to enable people to continue to live in their own homes. Contribute to the supervision of staff and students. Work within the services quality standards and observe the policies and procedures of the Trust. Comply with the College of Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and national and local policies and procedures. Respect the individuality, values, cultural and religious diversity of clients and contribute to the provision of a service sensitive to these needs.
