The Role
As part of a collaborative team, the successful applicant will support the established and growing Glasgow Private Client team. The role involves handling a dynamic caseload of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, and offering a range of advice on asset protection, tax, and executry administration.
You will work with large trusts and estates, support succession planning, and create and execute wills and powers of attorney. Additionally, you will handle guardianship and capacity cases. This role offers exposure to a wide range of clients and cases of varying sizes and complexities, providing the successful candidate with unparalleled practical experience.
The Ideal Candidate
1. Experienced in Private Client work and able to work independently with support.
2. Capable of managing a varied caseload with a range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals.
3. Possesses strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and colleagues.
4. Well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
5. Has a good understanding of financial matters related to Private Client work.
6. Open to training for the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) qualification.
