Want to play a vital role in executing pipeline and furnace inspections using bespoke, state-of-the-art, ultrasonic (UT) smart PIG (Pipeline Integrity Gauge) inspection equipment?
The equipment comprises of a circular Phased Array sensor which can simultaneously scan for volumetric cracks and wall loss on tight bends in pipelines, with diameters ranging from 3 inch to 12 inch.
Professional Profile
I'm looking for someone experienced working in the oil & gas or power generation sectors, with either of these two profiles:
1. An inspector who's familiar with UT methodology and application (not necessarily certified) who can carry out pipeline inspection and ensure data collected is sound - someone else will analyse and create the report. OR
2. A NDT technician, certified in UT L2, that can also analyse and report on collected data.
Of course, whichever profile fits you will determine base salary.

Job Requirements
* Confident in client-facing situations; being able to resolve any issues that arise in an appropriate manner
* Willingness to travel extensively around the world on company business
* Minimum 2-year degree or technical certificate in electronic, industrial, or mechanical discipline, or equivalent experience
* Experience in the use of IRIS equipment is a plus
* Experience with (or ability to learn) electrical circuit maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
* Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Excellent organisational skills and a professional attitude
* Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or in a team environment
* Physical ability to work in various conditions and lift up to 75 lbs
Job Responsibilities
* Perform inspections on pipelines using UT smart PIG (Pipeline Integrity Gauge) inspection equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines
* Set up and calibrate inspection equipment, including UT smart PIG instruments
