Main duties of the job This role will involve working on the ward reception desk, taking and making calls to patients, other Trust staff and external teams, notes management, and other general administrative duties. Our Wards deal with a high volume of patients and families daily. Our ideal candidates will thrive in a busy, fast paced environment, enjoy dealing with a variety of people both face to face and over the telephone, be flexible to the needs of the service, and also be able to manage competing priorities efficiently. Candidates should have a good level of experience working in an administrative environment and must also be computer literate. Previous NHS experience and knowledge of hospital systems would be an advantage.
