The Role
As an HR Advisor, you'll play a vital role in developing proactive HR strategies. You will collaborate with senior colleagues to shape best practices and advance the people plan.
Day-to-day responsibilities include being the first point of contact for employee queries, providing guidance on employment law, managing ER cases, and supporting absence management and formal processes.
* Provide advisory guidance and coaching on employment law policies.
* Identify complex ER cases and escalate when necessary.
* Lead absence management initiatives, conduct welfare meetings, and find resolutions.
* Support line managers with formal HR processes.
* Maintain accurate records of ER casework.
This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working arrangements. Flexible working options, including part-time, condensed hours, and job sharing, will be considered.
Experience required:
* Previous experience in a relevant HR role.
* Experience working with ER in a unionized environment.
* Understanding of employment law and legislation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to develop strong relationships.
Qualifications:
* CIPD Level 5 qualification preferred.
