More detail about the role: An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Secretary/Administrator to join the team at the Centre for Womens Health. Based on the main Royal Devon and Exeter Wonford site, the post holder will join an established team to provide comprehensive Secretarial/Administration support to three of our Consultant Gynaecologist/Obstetricians. The post holder will have a range of secretarial and administrative experience, ideally in a Healthcare environment; however, we welcome applicants from other sectors who feel they have relevant transferable skills. Working in a busy and sometimes demanding job, within a supportive team, they must be a good team player and enjoy working within a Multidisciplinary team. We are looking for someone who is articulate, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise competing workstreams. You should also have strong secretarial or administrative experience, organisational skills and the ability to work without direct supervision. As the post deals with patients, relatives, and Healthcare professionals, applicants must have excellent communication skills and will be expected to have an empathetic and efficient telephone manner.
