The Role
We are recruiting for a Global Strategic Account Manager to join the James Fisher Renewables team and support with the strategic positioning of the business as a leader within the offshore/onshore wind market. You will be working closely with the Sales Team as well as Product Managers to support the development of the company strategy, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, driving revenue, and establishing long-term collaborations.
You will also support the development of competitive delivery models and will introduce different value-adding offerings. Your focus will be on building strategic partnerships to enable differentiation and sustainable returns.
This role will require travel within and outside the UK.
Role Accountabilities
* Act as a Senior member of the JFR team, supporting and delivering pipeline across service lines and key accounts.
* Drive the development and implementation of the 5-year strategy.
* Lead the collaboration of Operations, Sales, and Product Development to meet the market demands.
* Work with the Sales and Operations Teams to develop and implement sales prioritisation criteria, providing clear strategic direction on must-win battles per service line.
* Support go-to-market strategies driving new market entry, including the development of business cases for each region and/or service line as appropriate.
* Work closely with the CTO, CDO, Operations & PD Director to introduce and scale differentiated value-adding offerings to key accounts.
* Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and product/service lines to drive market insights from clients and competitors.
* Undertake full competitor landscape analysis with support from external organisations to ensure JF Renewables remains at the forefront of development and service offerings.
* Collaborate closely with the leadership team to develop comprehensive quarterly and yearly strategic key account plans.
* Adhere to sales and tendering processes including efficient use of tools & standard templates to support sustainable contract wins.
* Ensure clear communication on strategic development direction across all levels in the organisation.
* Promote a can-do, winning and collaborative culture – where ONE TEAM approach is key.
Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant degree/qualification combined with extensive experience in Business Development, Strategy, and Sales.
* Experience within the renewables industry is key.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Analytical mindset and can-do attitude.
* Strong stakeholder management experience and skills.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise effectively.
* Ability to persuade and challenge as and when appropriate.
* Willingness to go above and beyond to exceed results.
