We are excited to invite applications for the position of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher at a vibrant secondary school on the Coventry and Solihull border. About the Role:
As a full-time MFL Teacher, you will teach French and/or Spanish at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and expertise. You will design and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge students to develop their language skills and appreciate the cultures of the countries where the languages are spoken. There will be 15 lessons of Spanish and 8 lessons of French per week.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach French and Spanish across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with the possibility of Key Stage 5).
2. Plan and deliver lessons that are engaging, varied, and inclusive.
3. Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and set targets for improvement.
4. Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
5. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the MFL curriculum.
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the department.
What We Are Looking For:
1. A qualified teacher (PGCE or equivalent) with a passion for Modern Foreign Languages.
2. A strong command of French and/or Spanish, with the ability to teach up to Key Stage 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
3. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.

5. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
