The ideal candidate will be part of a small team responsible for the control of pests on customer premises. The role is varied, and best suited to someone who is used to working outdoors - especially within rural areas. You will be able to work on your own initiative, and also as part of a wider team. Technicians will be expected to communicate between departments, and be responsible for completing tasks in a professional and timely manner.
The role is for 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday). You would be working predominantly in the Fylde and surrounding areas, but at times be required to attend the unit in Gisburn. Technicians are required to hold an Enhanced DBS Check upon starting employment, provided by the Company.
Requirements of the role:
1. The identification and control of pests, as required by the customer.
2. Routine preparation work/system use.
3. Routine Farm / Commercial / Domestic work.
4. Routine maintenance and cleaning work on tools and equipment.
5. Routine Vehicle Maintenance Checks.
6. Basic IT Skills for mobile/tablet/laptop use.
7. Low Risk Work at Height / Confined Spaces.
8. Personable with Customers.
9. Correct use of PPE.
10. Safe use of substances.
11. Adhere to the CRRU Code.
12. Ideally live within 20 miles of Gisburn/Fylde.
Qualifications:
1. Van provided.
2. Experience not required - full training to RSPH L2 will be provided, upon completion of the trial period.
