This Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship at the BBC is the next step you need into your future career The purpose of the role within the BBC is to provide comprehensive administrative assistance to managers and team members within a nominated team(s). The role will be responsible for a broad range of administrative tasks e.g. the handling/directing of queries, maintenance of records coordination of projects and activities, and acting as the first point of contact for the team MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES What will you be doing on the apprenticeship? As a Business Administrator Apprentice you will have the opportunity to join an exciting BBC team while developing your skills in areas like: Business organisation Business governance (rules, practices and processes of a business) Business operations Introduction to project management and execution of business projects Stakeholder management Professionalism and development What will you be studying? You’ll study for your industry recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job. This apprenticeship will allow you to deepen your knowledge with hands-on experience, assisting various projects across the BBC, which will develop your understanding of business management and developing your future career pathway. WHERE COULD THE ROLE TAKE YOU? On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be able to look for permanent entry level corporate and business job opportunities inside or outside the BBC. This scheme starts in September 2025, and you will be on a fixed term contract which means your contract is for the duration of the apprenticeship only. The duration of this scheme is 18 months. Channels/Scheduling: The Scheduling team designs the most competitive and imaginative schedules for BBC channels. Organisational Strategies: The Organisational Strategies team works in partnership with senior HR leaders and business stakeholders on Operating Model design. Music Rights: The Music Rights & Reporting team is responsible for clearing, licensing and commissioning music. Factual Indie Partnerships (BBC Studios): Manages relationships with the indie TV production sector in the UK. Content Protection (BBC Studios): Works across social media platforms to protect BBC Studios’ content. Global Licensing (BBC Studios): Develops BBC content into products that fans love to purchase.
