We are looking for a passionate Modernisation Sales Consultant to join our Scotland Regional Sales team, who will report to our Regional Director. This role will improve market penetration and grow the modernisation and enhancement business in line with our company objectives within the Scotland Region.
As a Modernisation Sales Consultant, your day to day will include:
1. Building relationships with customers
2. Identifying and developing new client areas via lead generation and prospecting
3. Closing profitable deals over a range of customer groups
4. Achieving sales and revenue growth according to agreed targets
5. Responding to quotation requests, tender enquiries, following up and negotiating to close the sale
6. Maximising exposure of products and services across targeted accounts and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
7. Developing and implementing strategic account plans with clear objectives to increase market share
8. Measuring and communicating progress against monthly targets by accurate and timely reporting and forecasting
9. Managing existing client accounts to maximise share of their spend and develop existing relationships
10. Liaising with the Regional Director to ensure all work follows appropriate company practices
11. Visiting clients
Qualifications:
1. Commercially driven
2. Previous modernisation sales experience; it will be advantageous if you have sales experience within the lift and escalator industry
3. Strong presentation skills
4. Competent in all Microsoft programmes, including Project and PowerPoint
5. Excellent time management skills, highly organised, approachable, and flexible
6. Strong organisational and people skills
7. Attention to detail
8. Pro-active, driven by results, and looking to go the extra mile
