Learning Support Assistant – Adults and Apprentices
A rewarding opportunity awaits a compassionate and motivated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our Student Support Team, working specifically in the Adult Learning and Apprenticeships Department.
As an LSA, you will play a key role in supporting adult learners and apprentices with diverse needs, helping them to achieve their educational and professional goals. Your responsibilities will include providing
individualised support in classroom settings, assisting with learning activities, adapting materials to suit different learning styles, and offering one-to-one guidance to those who need extra help.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults in an educational or training environment, strong communication and organisational skills, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to meeting the varied needs of learners are essential. Contractual Details
Rate of Pay or Salary: £22,634 per annum
Working Time: 37 hours per week, all year
Contract Type: Permanent
Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
Leave entitlement: 29 days per year plus bank holidays and additional discretionary leave at Christmas.
