As a Senior Nursing Assistant, you are at the forefront of coordinating and delivering outstanding care for St Ronans’ residents. Your job is to lead the Nursing Assistant team, working with them while overseeing and supporting them to deliver the best possible care for St Ronans’ residents. Key to your role will be ensuring a positive and caring atmosphere in the home – leading by example, troubleshooting, and liaising effectively with all other teams. Some of the main responsibilities include: To support residents to live as independent lives as possible, in line with their needs, wishes and preferences. To be a role model in the home – delivering outstanding care and support for St Ronans’ residents and supporting others to do the same. Coordinate the Nursing Assistant Team – overseeing and supporting them and troubleshooting on shift. Check allocated jobs are done to a high standard by consistently checking and expecting high standards and supporting the team. Deliver personal care, including skin care, bathing, shaving, oral care, toileting (including management of bladder & bowels), dressing, hair care, making and changing beds, and any other tasks as per resident’s care plans. To ensure a positive working dynamic in the care team, dealing with any issues that arise proactively and positively.
