Your new firm Due to an expansion in client base, this established firm based in Crewe are seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant Manager to join their team and support the firms growth. Established in 2005, this firm provides a full range of accountancy services including audit, accounts, tax compliance, tax planning, business advisory and payroll. Your new role As Audit Assistant Manager, you will provide support in the full audit cycle from planning through to presentation of reports to a growing and diverse range of clients under the supervision of the Audit Manager. You will be required to work on site to deliver an effective and efficient audit service and will be responsible for the management and reviewal of junior audit staff. This role will also involve accounts work for the firms client base and you will be required to manage your own time and support the wider team. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the full audit cycle within a practice environment. Ideally you will currently be AAT/ /ACA/ACCA qualified or be studying towards an accountancy qualification. Excellent organisational and time management skills will make you an excellent candidate for this role. This position will require you to be able to work as part of a team, as well as the ability to lead and manage people as well as support and review the work of junior audit staff. What you'll get in return In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £36,000 and £42,000 dependent on experience. This firm offers hybrid working options and a 1pm finish on a Friday with a 37 ½ hour working week.
