Responsibilities:
1. Providing podiatry assessments, treatments, and care to patients, devising treatment plans, and managing successful outcomes.
2. Providing diagnosis and treatments using knowledge and skills to maximize benefits for patients.
3. Providing advice to assistants and other clinical staff, as well as patients and carers.
4. Actively participating in reviewing, modernizing, and developing policies, procedures, and protocols in the clinic.
5. Ensuring effective communication of complex, sensitive, and emotional information to patients and carers.
6. Attending and participating in podiatry service staff meetings.
7. Offering exceptional levels of customer service to all who experience the clinic services, including patients, carers, and external healthcare professionals.
8. Developing networks and assisting in the development of future business and revenue streams.
9. Completing all associated administrative tasks.
Requirements:
* HCPC-registered podiatrist with a minimum of one year’s experience.
* BSc (or equivalent) in Podiatry.
* Excellent clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of foot and ankle conditions.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
* A commitment to patient-centered care and providing excellent customer service.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Membership of the Royal College of Podiatry and/or NMP qualification is highly desirable.
