We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate tutors to work alongside local authorities and virtual schools, providing essential support to students in Functional Skills Maths and English. Our priority is to provide tailored assistance to students with diverse challenges, including behavioural challenges, SEN, and looked after children. We believe that our role is vital in equipping these students with the skills they need to succeed in life.
The role involves delivering 1:1 tuition, which may be in a school, local venue, or the student's home, and is highly flexible. Tutors are expected to create and deliver engaging sessions that cater to the individual needs of their students, ensuring they receive both functional skills and emotional support.
We are looking for candidates with experience working with students who require emotional support, and who are confident communicating with local authorities and care home staff. The ideal candidate should possess excellent planning and delivery skills, as well as expertise in Functional Skills English and Maths.
Requirements include a teaching qualification (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience, experience working with students with SEMH needs, and a valid DBS check on the update service (which can be applied for through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
