Operations Manager required for a well-established and award-winning manufacturer of luxury products. The role will suit those seeking a collaborative team-based environment where you can add value to the company and positively impact the continued and ambitious growth plans.
To apply for the role, you need to have experience managing operations in an engineering/manufacturing environment. You need to be able to successfully lead teams to ensure engineering projects are manufactured to the agreed specification and high level of quality, are on time and within budget. The company's products are high-value bespoke products for clients on a global basis; creativity is at the heart of what they do.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading Operations, Production, and Client Services to ensure design, production, and installation of orders are delivered to high standards. The company employs over 30 people and is further expanding. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will drive continuous improvements and innovation whilst inspiring and motivating your team.
The role will suit experienced managers overseeing different operations looking for a unique, creative, and fast-growing business. The company has an impressive facility in a rural setting consisting of the workshop, welding/fabrication production area, offices, and gardens.
The Operations Manager Role in Brief:
1. Responsible for managing operations, ensuring products are manufactured to design specifications in a cost-effective manner whilst ensuring quality is achieved.
2. 5 direct reports.
3. Lead and inspire the team.
4. Continuous improvement and enhancements.
5. Ensure high levels of quality control to maintain high expectations of the brand.
6. Project management ensuring all projects are managed successfully from design to installation.

1. Experience leading a successful production and operations department within an engineering environment.
2. Experience in successfully bringing teams together to ensure successful delivery of projects.
3. Experience leading people across various departments.
4. Experience of implementing continuous improvement activities.
