- Ongoing Contract Band : Band 5 Number of Positions : 2 Job Summary Frontline Health Professionals is seeking two skilled Engineering Tradespersons to join our team, ensuring optimal functionality and maintenance of our crucial decontamination equipment.
You will be central to maintaining a safe and efficient environment, essential for the wellbeing of patients, staff, and visitors.
You will provide multi-skilled engineering expertise across various mechanical and electrical equipment and fabric, providing cross trade work to the service.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair across a variety of equipment, including: Washer/Disinfectors MMM Ultrasonic Medisafe MMM autoclaves Steris rapid airs endoscopy washers Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed to high standards, compliant with statutory legislation.
Participate in shift, shift relief, and on-call duties as required.
Requirements Completed an accredited Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent, plus relevant training.
Experience with Washer/Disinfectors and Track & Trace Software.
Proficient in maintenance of specified equipment: MMM autoclaves, Medisafe ultrasonics, and Steris rapid airs washers.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work unsupervised.
Current full UK driving licence.
Desirable: Welsh language skills, experience within the Private or NHS, or knowledge of NHS decontamination units.
