We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team and help deliver high-quality care and education to the children in our setting.
The Role:
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily activities of the nursery and helping create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will work directly with children to support their development, ensuring they are safe, well-cared-for, and engaged in meaningful activities. You will also collaborate with other nursery staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged [insert age group, e.g., 0-5 years], supporting their learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that promotes children's independence and learning.
Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities to meet the individual needs of each child.
Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development and sharing these with parents and colleagues.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to each child’s care and development.
Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development, encouraging positive behavior and healthy habits.
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe nursery environment, adhering to safeguarding and health & safety policies.
Participate in regular staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working with young children in an early years setting is highly desirable.
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
Passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and well-being.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
A caring, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
A positive, proactive attitude and a desire to contribute to a supportive and dynamic nursery environment.
