Scope and Responsibilities The individual will support the Vice President who has trading responsibility for both European high yield bonds and European loans. Responsibilities include: Support European Trader across full trade lifecycle Interact and communicate with relevant stakeholders on a regular basis, including (but not limited to): Research analysts; Trade support; Investment, portfolio, and CLO compliance Corporate actions Book and manage trades New security set-up and maintenance Understand fund complexities/intricacies on complex trade allocations Resolve pre & post-trade settlement issues Understand, solve for, and communicate process issues and inefficiencies Perform various other tasks and projects as necessary Experience required 2-5 years relevant market experience; specific expertise of working in fixed income and/or sub-investment grade credit markets required; A proven ability to understand and control risk; Knowledge of OMS platforms Proficient in Excel Personal attributes Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task; Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with ability to process and synthesize complex information; A self-starter with a proven ability to work with minimal supervision; and Flexible and team-oriented with strong integrity and professionalism.
