We are seeking an experienced CBT therapist to co-lead our psychological therapists in our Aire and Wharfe CMHT. We seek someone passionate about working with diversity and marginalised communities as part of a multi-disciplinary team committed to reducing health inequalities and providing trauma-informed psychological services. Main duties of the job
1. Provide specialist evidence-based psychological assessment, formulation & therapy, making autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice.
2. Provide clinical leadership, supervision, consultation and advice on psychological therapies.
3. Provide clinical consultation and advice to healthcare professionals across all localities.
4. Support adherence to relevant NICE guidance and clinical governance arrangements.
5. Ensure the clinical effectiveness of own practice and of service functioning by undertaking research and development activities relevant to the service area.
6. Work with the Team/Clinical Manager on service development, leading research and development activities.

Essential
* Specialist post-graduate training to master's level or equivalent in a psychotherapeutic modality - including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Systemic Therapy.
* Accreditation from a recognised CBT professional body e.g. BABCP. (a) Professional route requiring previous mental health qualification e.g. Clin. Psych., RMN, Dip. SW. or (b) where applicable, the KSA (knowledge, skills and attitude) route (e.g. with the BABCP).
Desirable
* Eligibility for Chartered Clinical Psychologist status.
* Undertaken post-qualification further training in a specialised area of psychological practice e.g. neuropsychology, CAT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, analytical therapy, systemic/family work etc.
* Leadership training.
