An industry-leading property consultancy is looking for a Graduate Surveyor —either a recent or experienced graduate—to join their expanding Infrastructure team in Edinburgh. Key Responsibilities: Project Support: Work alongside senior surveyors on infrastructure projects, including land acquisition, valuations, and negotiations. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with landowners, clients, and third parties, contributing to effective communication and relationship management. Negotiation & Lease Support: Assist in option and lease negotiations, gaining valuable experience in professional surveying tasks. Valuation Reporting: Help prepare valuation reports in line with RICS standards, ensuring accuracy and professionalism. Access Consents & Claims: Support the process of securing access consents across third-party land and assist in negotiating disturbance claims following works. Feasibility & Appraisals: Participate in research, feasibility studies, and development appraisals for major projects. Career Development: Engage in structured training and mentorship, working towards your RICS qualification with the support of senior surveyors. What We’re Looking For: Relevant Degree: A degree in surveying, land management, or a related field. Recent graduates or those with some post-graduate experience are encouraged to apply. Passion for Property & Infrastructure: A keen interest in infrastructure, utilities, and property sectors, with a desire to build a long-term career in this field. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to work well with colleagues and external stakeholders, with excellent communication skills.
