About the Role:
You will be responsible for planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, maintaining client relationships, reporting back learnings and meaningful insights, and supporting the overall brand development process. This position requires a strong understanding of digital marketing and some relevant experience.
We are looking for a Digital Account Executive to assist with account management, client management, and digital comms planning across Virgin Media and O2 across both brand and performance disciplines. You will work closely with the Client Account Teams, as well as a wider team of media channel specialists.
You will be responsible for supporting the team across a range of functions. Your primary role will be managing live campaigns from brief through to reporting and post-campaign analysis. The ideal candidate will be able to understand and interrogate a brief and manage the timing of the plans to ensure we always deliver within the campaign period. You should have experience in setting up and reporting on campaigns and working with digital specialists to deliver insightful reports back to our clients.
You will have had some client-facing experience and be used to working collaboratively with both internal and external parties. You will be able to assist across campaign and annual planning, helping deliver insights that will feed into our overall responses. You show enthusiasm to learn more about our process and be proactive in taking responsibility on the account whilst leading on aspects of the digital planning process. You will work closely with the creative agency to manage pre and mid-campaign adjustments and act as a funnel through to the specialist teams and sales houses.
The role will be fast-paced, agile, and you will need to proactively look to anticipate client needs. Knowledge of the digital planning and buying processes, as well as key digital themes such as measurement, data, and technology is critical. Clients require strong attention to detail and a desire to drive effectiveness across all activity.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
1. Assist the Digital Account Director and Client Teams in leading the day-to-day management of the Virgin Media and O2 accounts.
2. Take ownership of campaign implementation – leading on POs, booking deadlines, creative delivery, and weekly campaign reporting.
3. Manage the finance process of the digital team, ensuring reconciled plans are delivered on a monthly basis, and that finance queries are solved in a timely manner.
4. Have an ability to digest, interpret, and respond to client briefs in a clear and thorough manner.
5. Be confident on MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
6. Without question, your attention to detail is sound; you are a conscientious worker who is as confident in front of clients as the wider agency.
7. Have a sound understanding of how digital channels contribute to campaign objectives and business goals.
8. Develop strong relationships with specialist channel teams to ensure effective working processes and best-in-class work delivery.
9. Look to educate the client – provide innovation sessions with key media owners to keep the client and wider team up to date with industry developments.
