Job summary/Purpose
The Change Analyst will play a crucial role in implementing business change initiatives, ensuring business readiness, and supporting the successful launch of new processes and systems. This permanent position requires a proactive individual who can collaborate with various departments across the organisation to drive continuous improvement and manage change effectively to improve business processes, increase efficiency & productivity, and successful adoption of new systems.
Primary Responsibilities
Business Change Implementation: Leading and investigating the business landscape and stakeholders to define recommendations for improvement and action. Activities may include — but are not limited to:
* Design and develop change management initiatives, change management plans, communication plans, and training programs to support the successful implementation of change initiatives.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand changes of requirements, solicit feedback, and ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
* Conduct change readiness assessments (business impact, stakeholders) to gauge readiness for change and identify potential risks and barriers.
* Leverage change management frameworks and methodologies to guide teams through the change process and mitigate resistance.
* Ensure stakeholders are onboard and fully engaged with business readiness plans soliciting help and support in the delivery of any readiness plans.
* Understand and drive cultural change by identifying potential areas of resistance to change and develop counter strategies to reduce resistance and foster positive acceptance and adoption.
* Inform effective & pragmatic user acceptance testing strategies & plans.
* Provide input to the development of formal business cases and work closely with the development team to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Change Management and Support:
* Monitor and track progress of change initiatives, evaluate results, and make recommendations for further improvements or adjustments.
* Provide support and guidance to employees during periods of change, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
* Manage the development of standards, policies, and procedures within the area of analysis and redesign.
* Create and manage detailed change management plans, including communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, training plans, and resistance management plans.
* Facilitate training sessions and workshops to help employees understand and adapt to changes.
* Conduct impact analyses to understand the effects of proposed changes on business processes and systems.
* Assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders affected by the changes.
* Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that align with organisational goals and stakeholder needs.
* Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities into overall project plans.
* Evaluate the success of change initiatives and make recommendations for further improvements.
IT & Business Alignment:
* Support IT team members, functional counterparts, vendors and related business partners.
* Support in the development of solutions to meet business needs.
* Support in and support cross technology process improvement initiatives.
People Management:
* Manage individual workload and deliver to agreed-upon project milestones.
* Proactively promote consistent project-based performance measurement.
* Demonstrate ability to work in team environment and help resolve issues.
Knowledge Sharing / Management:
* Share / leverage successful products, processes and best practices across the business for new technologies.
* Implement communication and knowledge sharing process across IT teams.
* Assist in evaluating knowledge-sharing tools and making recommendations for technology standard approaches / tools.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by leveraging quality improvement methodologies.
* Refine and enhance technology methodologies and / or standards.
* Ensure documentation is captured in the document management system.
Compliance with IT Governance: Activities may include — but are not limited to:
* Operating the system of rules, practices, and processes by which an organisation makes decisions, manages stakeholders’ relationships, and identifies legitimate authority.
* Operating strategic and operational frameworks, policies, decision-making, business processes and plans to meet stakeholder requirements.
* Operating in-line with the TW IT service partner and supplier ecosystem contracts.
* Leveraging the TW IT service partner’s supplier ecosystem to deliver Taylor Wimpey’s demands.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, providing guidance and support to ensure change management.
* Champion change initiatives by promoting awareness and understanding of the benefits of change within the organisation.
* Collaborate with human resources or training departments to support the design and delivery of training for change initiatives.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders about changes, including why the changes are happening, how they will be implemented, and how they will affect employees.
* Support business sponsors on defining, monitoring and tracking business (case) benefits.
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements
* 3-5 years of relevant work experience
* Understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts
* Awareness of the technology organisation and business and technology strategy
* Understanding of the company’s business practices and familiarity with the company’s products and services
* Good analytical and writing skills
* Good technical knowledge of Foundation IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure concepts, Business Applications, Middleware integrations.
