Gap healthcare is working with a large- sized charity organisation that supports children and young people on the edge of care, in care, and leaving care. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead two solo therapeutic services in Bury St Edmunds, providing high-quality residential care and fostering a trauma-informed environment where young people can thrive. Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and management for residential services, creating a nurturing, inclusive environment
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and all legislative requirements
Lead and develop a trauma-informed team to support young people who have experienced multiple placement breakdowns
Oversee care planning, risk management, and safeguarding procedures
Build strong partnerships with families, social workers, mental health professionals, and other external agencies
Manage resources effectively, including staff rotas, budgets, and staff development
Requirements:
Relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to complete within 2 years)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential care for children within the last 5 years
