what you will do
The advisory senior consultant is a client-facing practitioner with strong research, project management, presentation and client delivery / operational expertise.
The advisory senior consultant plays a key role in leading engagements, teams and the development of consulting recommendations, case studies, best practices and assets (e.g., methodology, data & insight products, diagnostic tools, etc.).
In this specific role, you will sit as an SME in the Skills & assessment practice but your main focus will be to lead projects and engagements with the supervision of an advisory director or VP/SVP across all practices and regions. This role typically requires managing multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards and meeting tight deadlines.
The role needs to be based or working within the EMEA timezone. Travel (regional and global) and/or working out of timezone hours might be required.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver Client Engagements
* Support client discovery sessions and workshops
* Conduct stakeholder interviews with client leadership
* Present findings and recommendations to management
* Support proposal development and client pitches
Materials and deliverables
* Creating decks
* Develop project charters
* Status reports
* Implementation roadmaps
Research and Analysis
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis
* Review and synthesize industry reports and thought leadership
* Perform gap analyses and maturity assessments
Project Management
* Manage 2-5 concurrent client projects depending on size and effort
* Lead teams of 3-5 junior consultants or external freelancers if needed
* Create and maintain project plans
* Track project financials and manage to budget
* Coordinate with other delivery teams
Tools and Technologies
* Data visualisation
* Digital workspace tools
* Project management software
