About the Role
Reporting directly into the Finance Director with a dotted line into our management accountant, our payroll and commissions analyst will support the business in providing commissions and bonus reporting at various levels internally.
A key element will be to produce monthly commission and bonus statements for all sales heads within the business. This will be a challenging but rewarding role for a process-driven individual with excellent customer service skills and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Calculation of monthly commission pipelines.
* Review of sales agreements to ensure commissions are adjusted accordingly.
* Communication of commission pipelines and payments to sales staff.
* Liaising with the senior leadership team to ensure commissions are paid correctly.
* Query resolution.
* Other Finance duties as and when required.
The role will be based from our Jarrow office, covering our standard working hours of Monday to Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm, and Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm with no evenings, no weekends, and an early finish every Friday.
What you’ll bring:
This position would suit a candidate with a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role and would be a perfect fit for a candidate with the below skills and qualities:
* Experience and understanding of sales incentive programs, processes, and procedures.
* Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office – predominantly Outlook and Excel.
* Analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse data.
* A detail-oriented self-starter with excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to changing demands and can prioritise work effectively.
* Ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
