Salary: £34,000 & £2,000 Welcome Bonus

What you will be doing:
As a Graduate you will work within the Warship Engineering discipline, specifically within the survivability engineering team. Within this team you may undertake ship signature, vulnerability or shock modelling and analysis. You will be working collaboratively with the team in providing advice and guidance to the Platform Designers to ensure that the survivability targets are met. You will be responsible for the delivery of survivability tasks, delivering against the project design requirements. Some key activities may include:
* Working with the engineering teams to deliver the modelling & analysis activities required by each project;
* Assisting in the delivery of the verification activities for survivability;
* Maintaining Signatures/Survivability predictions in line with the project design requirements; assisting with the mitigation of non-compliances and risks; working across project disciplines to achieve resolution;
* Supporting the system design development by the other engineering domains and detail design teams, ensuring compliance with survivability requirements and design rules;
* Assessing supplier evidence against survivability requirements and presenting status to wider business and customer community;
* Performing and reviewing equipment noise and vibration measurements;
* Progressive refinement and updating of signature and survivability models as maturity of supplier’s data increases.
Skills:
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to be on track to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in either a Science or Engineering subject.
