We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic Senior Family & Systemic Psychotherapist to join our Healthcare Service at Oasis Restore Secure School (ORSS). ORSS is the first Secure School in the UK and will hold 12-18 year old children.
The Senior Family & Systemic Psychotherapist role provides a comprehensive, highly specialist, trauma-informed therapeutic service to children and their families at Oasis Restore Secure School, including specialist systemic assessment and therapy as well as advice and consultation to the wider health team and residential/education team within the school. The post holder will work closely with the Head of Transitions/Families, Restore Networkers and other partner agencies in developing and implementing the Family Strategy for the secure school.
Main duties of the job
The Senior Family & Systemic Psychotherapist is expected to deliver, and lead on, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care of children and families, considering the developmental needs of the children, and ensuring consideration of the impact of their experiences on their current strengths, needs and difficulties. Developing good therapeutic relationships with the children and their families is key for this post and in the wider service delivery.

The postholder will contribute to the clinical leadership of the team, sharing best practice and contributing to all aspects of the programme, and being involved in the outcome evaluation. They will be expected to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the services policies and procedures, and utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the Health and Justice Children & Young Peoples Service Line.
The post holder will be required to work in an integrated way with staff working for other organisations within ORSS and contribute to the development of a 'One Team' approach. This will include sharing information, contributing to multiagency formulation and care plans, updating Oasis IT systems and documents and adhering to ORSS protocols and policies.

Essential
* A recognised professional post-graduate (MSc level or equivalent) qualification in Systemic Family Therapy.
* Evidence of post-qualification specialist training, experience and developing expertise in a specialist area of clinical practice.
* UKCP Registration.
Desirable
* Pre- or Post-qualification training and qualifications in research methodology, staff training and/or other systemic approaches.
* Completion of supervisor training course.
* Reflective practice training and experience.
* Post-qualification training in a recognised psychological therapy for trauma.
* Post-qualification experience and training in neurodevelopmental assessment and intervention.
* Post-graduate training or experience in a forensic or education setting.
