Job Overview: Our client, a well-established financial services provider, is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Mortgage Administrator to support their team. As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a key role in the administration and processing of mortgage applications, ensuring smooth and efficient operations from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the processing of mortgage applications, ensuring all required documentation is collected and accurate. Liaise with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure all paperwork is in order. Coordinate the submission of mortgage applications and track progress through to completion. Maintain accurate records of client information and mortgage application statuses. Provide administrative support to the mortgage brokers and advisers, including scheduling appointments and managing client correspondence. Assist with managing client expectations by providing timely updates and addressing inquiries. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Assist with the preparation of mortgage reports and documentation for internal use and compliance audits. Handle general office administration tasks as required, including filing, document management, and data entry. Desirable Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a mortgage or financial services administration role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues professionally. A proactive and problem-solving attitude. Knowledge of mortgage products and the mortgage process.
