Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Kent management team as a band 4 Senior Administrator / PA. The post holder will provide PA and admin support to the Assistant Director of Kent Children's Mental Health Services. The post is equal to 34 hours per week and will be based in Pudding Lane, Maidstone with a view to travelling across all Kent sites where needed.
This role provides an opportunity for experience administrator to further develop their skills and experience in supporting senior managers and clinical teams.
Brief description of your duties & responsibilities
Work competently within current procedures for own working practices and, where appropriate, contribute to the development and implementation of changes to improve own working practices/service, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Co-ordinate, facilitate and maintain a record of SET-CAMHS clinicians training and development. Deal with general enquiries and communicate new procedures to the relevant members of staff. Support the monitoring and delivery of directorate key performance indicators, such as mandatory training compliance, and to work with senior managers to identify corrective action where necessary.
Co-ordinate NELFT wide CYP CAMHS Workstream Group meetings, provide administrative support as necessary, including organising meeting agenda and taking minutes of meetings.
Main duties of the job

1. Supporting administration and organisational tasks for the Assistant Director.
2. Provide a high quality confidential and comprehensive administrative service, including diary management.
3. Undertake word processing of all documents to a high standard, in an agreed Trust style and using an appropriate referencing system.
4. General admin duties, including, preparation of patient letters.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office (CEME) in Rainham, Essex.
