Assistant Accommodation Manager

We have an opportunity for an Assistant Accommodation Manager to join our team at Sanctuary Addenbrookes. This is an exciting role which is responsible for all aspects of site operations including: logging maintenance repairs, void room checks, compliance checks and managing high cleaning standards across the site. The role includes working with a small team managing the General Assistants, assist with tenancy management and the overall operations of our 12 accommodation blocks onsite. You will ensure that compliance and high standards are maintained
We are looking for a professional individual who is a team player and used to working in a fast-paced environment with experience in a similar role. Being self-motivated and able to use your own initiative is crucial. An individual that wants to learn new skills and can relate to Sanctuary’s values is important
The role of Assistant Accommodation Manager will include:
* Responsible for managing the allocations and bookings for onsite accommodation, which includes: key workers, students, on-call and patients and relatives bookings.
* Managing a small team of General Assistants, whose duties include: housekeeping, service cleans and general hotel style changeover within the buildings
* Completing finance tasks such as processing rent payments, invoices and raising purchase orders
* Communicating with tenants and the wider team and dealing with queries ensuring they are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
* Providing a robust quality customer service to all external and internal stakeholders
* Working with the wider management team, ensuring that standards are adhered to with regards to building checks, repairs, inspections and compliance
Skills and experiences:
* Excellent communication and customer service skills at all levels
* Ability to empathise with patients and their families
* Liaising with other health care professionals regarding the on call service
* Experience working with tenancies and agreements
* Experience of managing staff and providing administrative support to the wider team
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Experience of working within hospitality sector
* Driving licence is desirable
