Junior Secretary / Administration Assistant
Come and join the Yeovil College team, to hone your skills supporting our management team, with close involvement in the busy Estates & Facilities office. If you are a very organised individual, who pays attention to detail and works well in a team, you will be a great asset. You will be closely aligned with the activities in our Big Build team – supporting our exciting 4-year college redevelopment, which is already well underway.
In this exciting and varied role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, managing schedules, coordinating internal and external meetings, and ensuring seamless communication across all levels. From diary management to travel arrangements, you will ensure everything runs smoothly, supporting our management team with impeccable attention to detail. As the first point of contact for coordinating contractor visits, you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with our contractor Code of Conduct and safeguarding procedures. You will also support exciting projects and utilise cutting-edge Facilities Management systems to streamline operations. What we're looking for:
* Excellent computer skills and the ability to prioritise changing workload.
* The ability to communicate effectively and engage with the team.
* Level 2 English or Maths [or equivalent] or willingness to achieve.
* Effective organisation skills with a systematic approach to problem solving.
* Flexible to cover the office from 7.30am to 5.30pm on a rotational basis.
