The opportunity
The HR Analytics and Insights team’s key function is to develop Management Information (MI) on our people that enables better business decisions, while simultaneously improving our colleagues experiences and well-being.
Working at various levels across our talent (HR) functions, wider business and global support teams, this role will be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of MI (i.e. reports, dashboards, analytics, insights) and become a key business partner to our stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities
The role involves developing and delivering insightful MI offerings, including:
* Establishing credibility with clients by understanding their business environment and talent MI needs.
* Producing high-quality analytics work with minimal supervision, including:
o Regular and ad-hoc reporting
o Dashboard development and maintenance
o Analytics projects and research papers
o Liaising with UK-based and global teams
* Analyzing and presenting data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
* Contributing to an innovative culture by sharing ideas for improving talent MI efficiency and identifying process improvements.
* Identifying and resolving basic MI technical issues with team members.
* Keeping up-to-date with technical MI concepts and sharing key learnings.
* Balancing priorities to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
* Access management of/to MI systems and datasets.
Skills and attributes for success
The role primarily involves data analytics to produce people reports, dashboards, and wider MI (regular and ad-hoc). A key aspect is analyzing and providing insights from the data.
To qualify for the role you must have:
* Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis techniques and visualization packages, with proficiency in PowerBI (or similar) and Excel.
* Ability to integrate, transform, model, and visualize data from various sources quickly.
* Data interpretation skills, with the ability to identify, interpret, and present findings (written and verbally, including PowerPoint).
* Curiosity and a continuous learning mindset, with the ability to learn and apply new knowledge swiftly.
* Self-awareness and adaptability in interactions with colleagues to enhance relationships.
* Influencing and negotiation skills.
* Confidence to professionally engage with senior business clients both verbally and in writing.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
* Previous experience of working with HR data.
* Familiarity with Microsoft PowerApps and Microsoft Power Automate.
* Working knowledge of automating MI production.
* Experience in building and maintaining data input and storage tools.
