Key Duties:
* Carry out breakdown repairs to production equipment, plant, and services as requested.
* Carrying out TPMs and ensuring documentation is completed.
* Keep daily records of all work completed and all work pending.
* Monitor stores stock and usage.
* Always apply best practice operation maintaining high levels of health & safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
* Progress and complete project work on site.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
* Have a minimum of 3 years' experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Proven mechanical skills with knowledge in the plastics / injection molding industry preferable.
* H&S accreditation would be advantageous.
* Hold a 18th Edition Certificate is preferred but again not essential.
* Understand and be able to read mechanical/electrical schematic drawings.
* Be experienced in the use of PPM systems.
* Work on their own initiative.
* Work towards improved efficiency in the maintenance department.
* Be an effective team player and possess excellent communication skills.
* Must be willing to be flexible for the company and work occasional overtime shifts.
