Pay, benefits and culture The salary range associated with this role is between £40,069 - £84,892; however the starting salary will be within the range of £40,069 - £71,101, allowing room for career advancement. Using operational experience in line with the stations’ Corrective Action Programme, you will write and approve safe systems of work with engineered solutions to correct defects; identifying tasks that support repair, while ensuring resources, materials and procedures are planned into work packages. Through the provision of advice and information to improve maintenance work instructions and check sheets, you will ensure work packages inform to create successful work performance by the maintenance teams, with applicable standards, practices, and expectations. Creating risk assessments (in line with HSE’s five steps to risk assessment) and supporting emergent issues, you will be a first point of contact for technical issues and act as Field Supervisor for technical contracts. Who you are As a minimum, you’ll have an HNC in Measurement and Control Engineering (or equivalent). A background in C&I Engineering / Maintenance in heavy industry is essential. With a record of troubleshooting and fault-finding on complex, electronic and pneumatic control circuits, you will bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A basic understanding of the operation of an Advanced Gas Reactor (AGR) Power Station is beneficial, however, extensive training will be given.
