We're a thriving podcast production company based in the vibrant Shoreditch area of London. Our state-of-the-art studio serves as a creative hub for podcasters to bring their ideas to life. We're seeking a versatile individual to join our team as a part time Videographer/Studio Assistant, who will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth studio operations and delivering high-quality video content for our podcast clients.

We're a small company, and growing fast. We're looking for someone who can work autonomously, who would treat the studio as if it was their own!
We're open Monday to Friday 08:00 to 21:00, and 09:00 to 19:00 Saturday and Sunday. Our main team is onsite Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00, but any shoots outside of these hours people are working ad hoc.
We've seen exceptional growth over the last 6 months, and we're at a point where we need some additional help to manage the recording that are in the evenings and on weekends. This is a perfect job for those looking to get into the industry podcast, or someone who has their own freelance work, and looking for something consistent to fill in the gaps between their own shoots.
In terms of opportunity for further growth, we are looking to expand our studio premises and there is potential for the role to be expanded to a full time position in the next 3 to 4 months.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Studio Management:
* Open and close the studio depending on if you're working early or late, or on the weekends.
* Ensure the studio is tidy and well-maintained, providing a professional environment for our clients.
* Reseting on furniture depending on client requirements.
* Testing and maintenance of equipment
Session Coordination:
* Run studio sessions efficiently, including setup and operation of recording equipment, both audio and video.
* Framing on cameras, setting up of lighting, checking of audio levels
* Offer support to clients during sessions, from self-service setup to full sound/video engineering as required.
* File management and upload of raw files after, and distribution to clients.
Client Communication:
* Maintain clear communication with clients throughout studio sessions, noting any issues or specific requirements in a session log.
Flexibility and Adaptability:
* Be flexible in working hours to accommodate sessions booked outside regular hours.
* Demonstrate adaptability in handling various tasks, from studio management to video editing, based on business needs without management.
* We are primarily looking for someone to support with the evening recordings (17:00 through 21:00 and weekends, 09:00 to 19:00)
Not Essential but Advantageous:
* Advanced knowledge and use of Logic Pro X, and audio processing/editing
Requirements:
* Prior experience in videography, video editing (specifically podcasts), and studio management.
* Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, and knowledge of Izotope RX plugins.
* Knowledge of Sony cameras, and proficient on audio engineering.
* Strong technical skills in operating recording equipment and audio/video editing tools.
* Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Availability for out-of-hours and weekend work, and flexibility to complete the majority of their shifts within these hours
Benefits
* 10 hours contracted minimum a week, but likely to be between 15 to 20 hours per week spread across Monday to Friday
