Pebble Lodge is a purpose-built 10 bed general adolescent unit for young people aged between 13 and 18 years, who are experiencing acute and severe mental health problems. They also provide an education and day programme service for these young people. As an Art Therapist, you will offer art therapy for the young people admitted on the ward. This involves being a part of the Multi-disciplinary team meetings and risk management meetings.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the job are to work within the Inpatient therapies team and offer Art Therapy to those young people it is appropriate for. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, feeding into weekly MDT ward reviews and CPAs for each young person you work with. You will support a culture of openness and psychological safety within the team.
You will have the opportunity to attend training courses and participate in personal development training as identified by the line manager. Make accurate records of patient observations, including data entry to the RiO patient records computer system. You will be expected to promote the trust values and behaviours.

Experience
* Qualified art therapist
* At least 12 months experience post qualification
* Experience of working within CAMHS
* Experience working within inpatient setting
