Reports to: Nurse/Senior Support Worker
Key duties and responsibilities
• Assisting residents with daily personal care, such as washing, dressing, and mobility support.
• Supporting residents with meal preparation and ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' health or wellbeing to senior staff.
• Encouraging social interaction and participation in activities to enhance their quality of life.
Skills and attributes
• A caring and patient nature.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure.
• Previous experience as a carer is preferred, but not essential.
