Our client, a rapidly expanding leader in the Scottish Food Industry, is dedicated to delivering high-quality products to customers across the United Kingdom. They are seeking a proactive Inventory Controller (Stores Person) to join their dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage inventory processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
2. Coordinate with suppliers for timely inventory replenishment.
3. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
4. Operate a forklift truck daily for moving and organising products.
5. Collaborate with logistics to streamline operations.
6. Analyse inventory data to assist in decision-making.
What We Are Looking For:
1. Experience as an Inventory Controller or in a similar role in the food industry.
2. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software.
3. Valid forklift truck license and warehouse experience (training can be provided).
4. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
