Receptionist
Onsite - Orion Business Park, Stockport
Working Hours: we are flexible to accommodate the needs or ideas from the best candidate. For example, we are open for this role to be: full time, reduced hours or part time. This can be discussed with the Talent Acquisition Partner during your initial interview.
Summary
This job is responsible for the main reception area and academy zone, including all meeting rooms.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Manage and take ownership of the reception area being the first and last point of contact for our visitors.
2. Meeting, greeting and registering all visitors to the building, providing exceptional customer service to all.
3. Welcome all employees, ensuring they sign/clock in.
4. Welcoming all new starters onto site on their first day.
5. Efficiently managing deliveries, including couriers and post.
6. General administration as required.
7. Manage passes (activation/ deactivation) for visitors.
8. Handle all daily incoming and outgoing mail.
9. Answer all incoming questions and requests via phone, email or at reception.
10. Support the social group with event planning and hosting.
11. Manage the meeting rooms for internal and external events.
12. Maintaining and monitoring of useful consumables and stationery.
13. Ensuring that all social areas are kept up to standard, working with the cleaners to ensure all issues are dealt with.
14. Support visitors with local area knowledge, hotels, restaurants etc.
General Tasks
15. Strict compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
16. Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies
17. Proven experience in a front of house reception role.
18. Facilities management experience (desirable).
19. Self-motivated and thrive in an environment where you are required to multitask.
20. Excellent problem solving skills.
21. Communication and active listening skills.
22. Competent Microsoft Office and willing to learn in house systems and processes.
