Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Facilities Assistant to ensure our buildings and facilities are well-maintained, secure, fully functional and Health & Safety compliant.
You will be joining our Facilities Management team based at schools in Swanscombe. This role will be split between Craylands Primary School and Ebbsfleet Academy. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, managing repairs, ensuring security protocols are followed, and keeping the premises clean and orderly. You will need to be proactive, detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills. This is a permanent position working a total of 40 hours per week.
The role will be split between managing maintenance and key holding duties for lettings booking at Ebbsfleet Academy for 20 hours per week. This will be working Monday - Friday 6 PM - 10 PM with additional bookings at weekends, whilst also taking on school caretaking duties at Craylands Lane School for 20 hours per week with variable shift patterns.

Key responsibilities:
* Carry out defined Planned Preventative Maintenance responsibilities in accordance with each school's schedule and individual's skills.
* Key holding duties including the locking and unlocking of site premises and facilities.
* Carry out minor repairs and decorative works.
* Carry out day-to-day duties according to daily schedule, i.e., litter picking, bin emptying, sweeping, refreshing toilets.
Key Requirements:
* Range of general handyman skills such as general DIY skills, minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.
* Good customer service skills.
* Amenable and approachable personality.
* Ability to liaise with and assist external service providers.
* Flexibility for working hours.
