Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Control Assistant to join our Maintenance Control Team that are based at Oldbury
As a Maintenance Control Assistant you will be working as part of a team who are responsible for the effective cost management of breakdowns and maintenance of our Fleet of DPD Vans.
In this role your key focus will be to deal with incoming calls ensuring that they are answered and acted upon to ensure that there is minimal disruption to the network, you will analyse data to prevent reoccurrence and organise planned maintenance across the UK. You will be liaising with maintenance suppliers to make sure efficient repairs are carried out, and all relevant cost data will be recorded on to our in-house systems.
Other key responsibilities of this role will be:
● Communicating with other business lines in order to resolve any issues that arise
● Raising system order numbers for external suppliers
● Invoice processing and queries
● Running daily weekly, monthly, annual reports to include service reports, MOT and performance reports
● General department administration duties
To be successful in this role you must be able to evidence fantastic customer service skills ideally gained within a busy call centre or pressurised environment. You will be a strong communicator and an excellent telephone manner .You will evidence strong organisational skills, and have the ability to analyse data. We will also expect you to;
● Work effectively as part of a team.
● Be a proficient IT user with experience of the Microsoft package or Google Suite.
● Have an “Can Do” attitude to work and your duties.
● Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, self-motivation and organisation.
